Too many people think modding Ric's is sacrilige, but if you wanna, its your bass, I'd love to try both a T-Birded one, and a Burton style modded one.![]()
To me, the best sounding Rickys have been modified in some way shape or form.
Yeah, it's going to be hideous, but whatever, it was my first bass and at least I'll use it more this way.

Nah, hideous is a bass thats not getting played, don't matter if you superglue the pickups on, if it gets you to play the thing.
Yeah, I'm kind of a sentimental guy, so I can't really bring myself to sell it, but it's not getting much use because I just don't dig the sound with the stock pickups.
Hence the radical modifications. Another addition will be a badass bridge.
