Rig for super deep lows.

I think we don't measure with the same scales. Someone does not not necessarily need a very bassy sounding stack when he is running out of headroom and lacking of lows with his Behringer 410.
I recomment that the bass player just plays with a decent rig and then decides whether he needs a PA sub or something like that.

I just can't believe that there is a need for a super bassy rig with 1,5kW and nothing over 100Hz (that statement lead to my suspicion that you don't really know of how it works with the bass amp/frequencies and so fourth).

Don't get me wrong, but with a bassy rig that produces to much subbass you'll have problems in every location and on every stage. I'd like to prevent you from making mistakes you'll regret. Thats all :)

I didnt really do my research on the various freq of a bass guitar, but i guess that i should of seeing how many times its been brought up even after i said my only reference was eq-ing him in recordings.

Let me reiterate this: He wants lots o low end. He plays an EB-O with flatwounds and a felt pick. No part of his tone or rig means that he wants a Lemmy style of tone or anything even approaching midrange grind.

He has played thru a many diffrerent rigs, but nothing more powerful than 800w or so. Its not a volume issue, its a headroom issue. I do understand that the lower you go the more power you need and he likes to go low.
