Unfortunately, this was the last time I had all my gear in one spot. Since then I've acquired a Spector Legend Four string, a Boss ODB-3, A Bassballs, and soon a Bass Big Muff. Nothing is hooked up in this shot.

Does this qualify?

Don't remember if I posted this in the previous thread or not - but here it is.

I don't play the Ibanezes any more - have replaced those with Gibson Thunderbirds - but the rig remains active.

Stiles72, so what have you got there? You glued a stainless or aluminum plate on the sound board and then installed expanded metal grills on the stock grill cloth frames?

Share some of the details. Those are 215's, did you have the drivers replaced or did you just glue on the aluminum dust caps?

Makes for a nice looking rig.

Gentlemen, Today was a big day in Bassland. I picked up my sixth and final SVT-4PRO from GC this morning.

My 20U rack had to be re-laid out to handle the additional amp.

I removed the blank 1U plate, Radial JD-7 and the Korg tuner from the front top of the rack and bolted in the last 4PRO. This filled the front of the rack.

Then I installed the power for the top two amplifiers down to the power distribution panel. I still need to order two more adaptor plates for the mid atlantic rack system so I can mount up the speakons for the top two amps like the bottom 4.

I then mounted the KORG tuner and the JD-7 in the rear of the rack. The JD-7 just barely fits with about 3/4" to spare.

I used the top amp preamp output to the JD-7 input. This was risky as the JD-7 is guitar level and has a peak LED on it. I then hooked all the outputs to the amplifier ONLY inputs on each 4PRO. and it worked. The AMPEGS are lower voltage than most preamps / Amplifiers so it doesnt overdrive the JD-7.

I'm in hog heaven.

SO I fired up the six amps to full blast. The place looked like that memorex commercial where everything is blowing by the guy in the chair. Dishes falling to the floor in the kitchen, my kid just caught the microwave as it was leaving the shelf...

This was way impressive... SO I turned it down to practice level and played for a while just to burn some kilowatts. Sounds very nice.

I now need to get this into an arena somewhere so I can bust stuff there and not in my house.

Ok I'll play.

This is the latest incarnation of the Beaz Rig.

Super Low End - Super Tight - Super Light

The only thing I want to do now is add an additional 2x10 + 1x15 for the full 1800 watts as opposed to 1200 watts
:D

His profile indicates that at least two of the 2x15s are Ampeg Gene Simmons Punisher cabinets. Perhaps the third is too or it's been modified to embrace the same cosmetics.

my "ALL AMPEG" "rig of doom":

Holy deja vu! Seeing your lineup is like walking into the "Ampeg room" at Bay City (Michigan) Music Center in about 1974. I still remember the smell of all of those brand new Ampegs...quite intoxicating for my then teenage self!

What is the short cabinet under the V4 (4x12) on the right end? And, does the V4 cabinet in the middle (under the SVT(or V2?)) have Altecs in it?

Umummmm.:eyebrow:

Mr Bonner.

So no updated Pics?

Why how dare you.:D

Hey Red,

Well... "I couldn't find the little camera. It was getting late. I was tired. I ran outta gas. I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from outta town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake, a terrible flood, locust's. It wasn't my fault!! I swear to God!"
