I haven't had a chance to rock out with the B1500 yet, but this rig killed with the B800 on top. Can only be killer+ now, right??? Maybe not up to the level of some of you guys but I gotta help make up for the shortage of GB cabs in this thread!

I've always wanted to hear a vertical 4x12 stack. I bet that is quite nice.

here is my current rig--Ampeg SVT Pro 4 with 2 810s. If that doesn't get it done, I just flip the switch on the Acoustic and brace myself!

I also have a JMP-1 and a pair of Mesa 1x12s, and that same white voltage converter too ! (the Marshall is British, I am in the USA).

The JMP-1's clean channel is outstanding for slap tones with my Warwick streamer through the Mesa 1x12s.

The Mesa cabs are actually for guitars. I split the bass signal with a Lehle, then on to the 2 amps. Nut cruncher! And the step down trannie is for the Mesa.

They started out with the concept in '73 and by the end of '74 they were finished with it. It got to be so much overhead and hassle that they ended up with a big crew that they couldn't afford and found themselves playing to feed the beast. In typical non-confrontational fashion, rather than confront their crew and fire them and move on to a smaller rig, they just broke up the band until everyone started doing something else and then got back together in '76. By 1981 they were using a significantly different setup based on Meyer speakers and Phil had a pair of Meyer 18s with a pair of Meyer 15s on top. No crossovers and a pair of crazy huge custom power amps.

Not as Doom as some, but still loud. And taller than me.
1000 watts, 6-10",1-15". I don't use all this at once lol.
I just stacked up all my stuff to see what it sounded like.
Got another 15" buried in the garage but didn't dig it out.

Sounds great! I am picking up a Mesa 4x12 on Friday so I can see which I like better. Only drawback about the GK is that the top shelf on the cabinet is not very deep. My Titan (in the head case) does not fit securely, and the 400+ uses up every bit of real estate just to get the rubber feet secure. Tone wise, really a nice sounding cabinet. Very strong mid presence, nice highs and good lows, but IMO still a very mid oriented design (which is exactly what I want).

The micro limiter is in the effects loop to hold back the peaks this monster can put out. It drives 2 GK Neo410's
I don't have a picture of them since they are currently stowed away until I find a new band.

I also use a Sunn 1200s as my main amp, I probably should look into something like your micro limiter. That thing is wayyyyy powerful.

Just took this shot today. 8x10 + 2x15. The head is rated for 320w at 2ohm (both cabs) but I'll be damned if it doesn't sound bigger and louder than my B1500 carvin did at "1600w".
