Man that's fantastic! I love the Uber's and LOVE 15's but haven't heard one yet.

The Uber 15 is sooooooo butter!!!!! People have given Genz Benz flak for a 1K 15 cab, but once I played it, I have no regrets. It alone is more then enough, but I'm saving for either a 210T or a Quad to mate with it. Wish I still lived down the road from ya, I'd definitely invite you over to try it out.

if that door doesnt have all of its bolts locks this is a rig of doom in a another way. That BTB is doomed to meet the floor. Good thing its carpeted.

Yes, that door stays locked. It's a patio we don't use. My bass typically sits in the cradle on the right side, but I was in the middle of tinkering with my gear, so I moved it over to the left side so I could pluck it with my left hand and twiddle with knobs with my right.

Whoa. Must have missed that bit of info in your thread about your cabs. That's awesome. Saw those dudes open for Sunn a couple years ago. Absolutely amazing band. Really cool they're making cabs.

Yeah they used all HEX cabs on their tour with SUNN, their jam space is next to ours in the warehouse where they build these. They are the best sounding, most high quality cabs i've ever had and they were priced at far less than half what I paid for 1 Electric Amp 2x15 with Higher quality speakers!!!

Great. I already have two Emperor cabs...now I have something new to gas about.

Yeah, and that's without having a cover for it... My 810 came with the OEM cover, and it's got a little over 30 gigs on it since I got it in October - the only sign of it even being out of the house at all is one cracked corner piece, that's probably the result of one of the guitarists dropping it onto a concrete step when I wasn't there for a load-in... With as much as I'm gigging such a heavy cab, and having others move it a fair amount for me, if I have to buy a $6 corner every 3 months, I'm OK with that being a cost of doing business... I called Mesa and ordered 4 of them yesterday, actually - it's a heavy cab(173lbs), and I'm sure I'll probably need another corner piece sooner or later, especially given all the time it's spend in sub freezing temps...

- georgestrings

i want to know how you con your guitar player into doing load-in of 173lb cabs without you. :) a lot that i know wouldn't want to break a nail.
