I'd come to your group Lemmy piss-up if I were closer, friend. I really would. If I may suggest : If I were you I'd stop the solo ones. They just make you really depressed the next day or two. Go hiking instead. Makes you feel good. Bring your iPod or whatever and go enjoy nature.I wish I knew enough MH fans locally to put together our own memorial piss-up. I've had too many solo ones.

The Rainbow. That was his hang. That's where its happening.I'm torn between forking out the cash to make a pilgrimage to the official memorial or staying home and holding my own with the metalheads in my life...
What do you suppose Lemmy's favorite bar in San Francisco was?
The Rainbow is in LA, where the official memorial is.The Rainbow. That was his hang. That's where its happening.
I have an important gig next Saturday which cannot be farmed out so that's that. I will however be sporting my genuine, purchased at venue MH tour T shirt. The front has Snaggletooth wearing a red, white and blue Uncle Sam hat and the back reads "If you want to live above the law my dear, you've got to give a damn." : D
I was in town for that show. Faster Pussycat covered "Killed by Death" in honor of Lemmy and kept the Snaggletooth tapestry over one of cabs through the whole set. There were several MH shirts in the crowd (including mine).Invalid Link Removed
You can't get much more L.A. than those bands.
I didn't have the text exactly right but you get the idea.David Jayne-if you have a photo of that shirt, please post it! I'd like to find one like that. Thanks.
