Lemmy was a TRUE legend. I never really got into Motorhead, yet Lemmy's playing always inspired me and I've learned so much from studying him.

It just happens that today a coworker and I happen to talk about Lemmy and how much he wanted to see Motörhead since last time he saw him was about 25 years ago.

Sad news. RIP Lemmy! An aggressive cancer? Weird! And Phil Taylor passed just last month.

Was glad to see Motorhead a couple of times at Fiddlers Green, once from the third row and the second time from the 11th row. The first time Dio I was there too. Two legends and Iron Maiden in one night. Good times.

I'm sure he's raising hell wherever he is...

What's weird is I remember when he did a interview a few years ago and was talking about how odd it was he would be 70 soon, he just turned 70 a few days ago so I guess he wasn't into that lol it sucks but I'm not going to let it bring me down, its amazing he made it past 27 when you think of all those that didn't , let alone 70. All that music was a gift. I guess now we will see if Lemmy is god.

Regardless of how they croaked, accidents, illness, age, crime. I think 2015 the grim reaper has been a little TOO furious against influential bassists compared to other instrumentalists, say singers, and guitarists, or keyboardists. Even drummers....

Just shy of the new club 27. Lemmy died on the 28th. John Enthwhistle, Chris Squire, both passed at 27th June.
