Was glad to see Motorhead a couple of times at Fiddlers Green, once from the third row and the second time from the 11th row. The first time Dio I was there too. Two legends and Iron Maiden in one night. Good times.

I'm sure he's raising hell wherever he is...

Lemmy wasn't a hero of mine, but he was an influence and an inspiration to many. And after reading his biography White Line Fever, you can't help but place him in the league of Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll.

RIP Lemmy, your legacy is embedded in Rock and Roll forever.

That's horrible I read the article and it said he learned of the disease on Dec 26th? where were the doctors? was this a late diagnosis? I must be missing something?.

I will say this...I saw him at bass player live when I played out in early November and He was not the same back then diagnosed or not I hate to say.

That sounds like the greatest night ever.......

It was special, we had tickets for the lawn that I got for two for $14.99. My friend ended up winning four third row center tickets the day of the show from a sports radio station. At one point in the show I was about 18" away from Steve Harris's headstock when he struck his pose that he is famous for. We ended up moving that close during Maiden. Too cool.
