RIP Lemmy Kilmister

RIP Lemmy. There's a guy who's worthy of all kinds of envy - not many of us get to lead the life we want on our own terms.

Well slightly, it is a negative...

Here's a negative of your negative:

I'm not an expert but AFAIK just inverting a negative only works with black and white Pictures.

No, it works with color images as well - you just invert the color channels individually and tweak it as needed to account for the tint of the brown negative film. This negative wasn't really lit to do it properly, and I didn't spend any time on it, but at least Lemmy's recognizable. :)

I wouldn't say I'm anywhere close to being a fanatic about Lemmy, but I haven't heard a Motörhead song I didn't like, and I sure admired that rock n' roll lifestyle and coolness that he had in spades and the world is sure a lot less rock n' roll without him. Plus his tone was always gnarly. RIP Lemmy.

Watch the Lemmy documentary if you already haven't.

Wow. That ass!! and those pants!! drooldrool

It's ironic Lemmy was on the cover of this month's Bass Player magazine. The title of the article was "Lemmy: Victory or Die."

Ironic indeed. Gonna have to go find that.

I know it's a bit too soon, but I am wondering what his son Paul is going to do with all his gear.
Paul plays guitar, not bass.

I hope he willed one to Nikki Sixx, I know they were good friends. Perhaps the one with a Thunderbird pickup? I'm thinking it'll be auctioned eventually. I'm just interested to see all the gear he's collected.
