Nothing he did could justify the huge payouts.

Nothing can justify the huge payouts I just found out I'm going to have to pay because of Obamacare. I was getting insured through my wife, but she lost her insurance. NOW, I have to pay $350 a month, mandadory, for 1 visit a year with a doctor. Yeah, that's what they said. Anything else after that, or with a specialist, I have a $3000 deductible. The government already, before this crap, takes a 3rd of money I earn... to give people from other countries, and degenerate alcoholics and drug addicts free healthcare and other benefits. I'm not going to state how much I make a year, but trust me when I said it isn't a whole lot. Just above the mark that would give me free care too. Should I kill myself, and then blame Obama?

I need a new car. I'm driving around in a 2001 Hyundai that's nearing it's end. My payments on a new car (went shopping for one) would be about $200 a month. I didn't do it because I couldn't afford it. Then I find this health insurance stuff out about a month later.

We all have sheit we have to contend with.

Popp is paying homage and mourning Robin because of Williams' service to the "grunts" like him. Williams' numerous quiet and unselfish USO shows were targeted at the regular rank and file, not the brass. He didn't profit from them like some others. Robin just cared about the men who were protecting us. And now he's gone.

The whole divorce mess can be a double edged sword. The husband of a friend decided to leave her instead of giving up certain extra curricular activities. He left her with two daughters and a mortgage. She still wanted to try and work things out with him and didn't file for divorce for quite a few years.
Meanwhile her husband moved in with his sister and she continued to pay the mortgage by herself. After many years she finally filed. The judge said her husband was entitled to half of the value of their house and that she had to pay him rent for the time since he left. He is not working and has no money. He never paid child support and not both daughters are adults. I doubt if she got any kind of alimony.
My neighbor got very sick and his wife left him with their two young daughters. Before she left for the country they came from she cleaned out the bank account.
He struggled and managed to raise his daughters and pay the mortgage for the next ten years. His health kept him from working a lot. Now thanks to a new drug and a liver transplant he is pretty healthy. When he was in the hospital his wife took him to court in Europe. He got a letter saying she is entitled to half of the value of their home and that he has to pay her rent for the last ten years. He is fighting that one.
