Ritter Owners Club (Part 2)

I received my Ritter Okon today and it is beautiful! The scratches I was worried about can only be seen at a particular angle so I'm not going to worry about get them buffed out! Just not worth it! However, the string spacing is too wide for me. Someone here I'm sure knows how to adjust the string spacing on a B1 bridge? From what I can tell each saddle has four screws - three on top and one diagonal accessible from a slot in the middle of the saddle. I've tried the top rear screw and the diagonal screw and the string bed piece doesn't budge!

I know somewhere in the Ritter owners club this information is present but I haven't been able to find it! But, do all Ritter basses have the same radius? If so, what is it? It seems Ritter doesn't supply this information on the build sheet for the bass!

For a 6-string bass: Between 16 and 18"
They don't all have the same radius. There are a few factors like the # of strings. And there are custom requests.

Very likely no one monitoring this thread have tried flats with triplebuckers. To start with, owning a Ritter is rarified company already, and having one with triplebuckers is even more rare. And like I said, as few Ritters as there are out there, not every owner monitors this thread.

If you have one, try them out and let us know! I'm a former owner of one with slimbuckers and tried a variety of strings, but never tried flats on mine.

Tried flats on my Okon 5 and it was very disappointing. Flats took the grown right out of it. So flats made the sound flat.

I have changed the strings a number of times on my Ritter Okon 6 with a Kolar termolo. I tried flats, GHS Boomers, String Joy 30 - 115, and others. It seems no matter what strings I put on it the tension on the strings is the same - tight! It is not like that on my other basses. I am wondering if it's the tremolo. I am following the instructions for the tremolo when changing strings. So I don't believe it is improper setting of the tremolo. Have any of you experienced this?
