No need for the sarcasm and it was not a judgement. See further for a development over my 'over thinking' comment.
On most basses Jens does not use through body ferrules. As has been noted before most Ritter owners here have 5 strings and you're looking for the measurements specifically for a four string. That could be your problem here. As for not hearing from Jens; he's been traveling extensively for the last month, that might be some of the issue here and as
cntlb says e-mails can get lost. It amazes me that Jens ever gets to build basses with the level of e-mails, Skype calls, etc. he get's in a week. His availability to consult with future and current customers is amazing as many of us here will attest to.
Without a template getting the exact measurement is not as easy as it sounds, so what you'll have, unless it comes from Jens, will be approximate, hence my comment about 'overthinking', which I apologize if you took the wrong way. Bridge to ferrule distance is not a critical distance as long as you're not too close to the bridge where the string angle would be too extreme.
Since you're 'approximate' then getting the look/measurements off a picture is not going to effect things too much. Scale up a photo to 1:1 and then measure/trace and draw your own template. You may need several drawings but that's what building the first of anything is about. After you've got something that looks right then you can make a final template and before you drill that body try it on some scrap and see how it looks. "Measure twice; drill once" is the old adage and if you're not sure measure again!
Finally, most off use here don't know you from Adam; I don't think you're a regular poster here on this thread, although you've clearly been on TB awhile. There has been at least one well-discussed possible counterfeit Ritter in the past. We're an extended family here so that might be another reason for the lack of responses from any 4 stringers. Like most custom bass owners our loyalty to our maker is high! Please don't take that the wrong way. I am not suggesting you are going to copy one of Jen's designs, just suggesting why there might be 'apathy' from the thread.
BTW: Just in case you are wondering, I do work on, refinish and build bass guitars. Although I've only been building for a little over a year (so I consider myself a novice) I've been setting up and refinishing basses for a while now so I have a bit of experience in adding bridges, etc to basses.
