Where did you see this figure?Looks like a legit beat up finish and R Trullio is not one to play cheap basses anyway, remember he bought Jaco's bass of doom for over $250k.

That's just him pulling the E stringJees look how high the action is.
Ahh, the original Sledgehammer one? That's a shame.Tony Levin had a barn fire in the mid 90s and his infamous 3-string Stingray was among the instruments lost.

He's not nice to basses.
Lame. That's not cool, that's just abuse.
I think I'm going to go and buy a painting by a fairly well known artist, then throw it out a 3rd storey window.
Or shoot up a Jackson Pollock with a paintball gun...
Now that you mention it I've never not seen him wear shorts to a gig.Nobody commented on how he is wearing shorts...at a gig.... sheesh
Fairly certain it wasn't his intention for it to fall over, relax, not like he's giving it the Hendrix/Townsend/Cobain treatment.Lame. That's not cool, that's just abuse.

Robert's one of the reason's I play bass. Saw him open for Metallica with Suicidal Tendencies. Awesome show. Also glad to see a bassist that doesn't have the upper horn under his chin. Rock on!Snip from Metallica's concert i Bergen, Norway last night. Looks pretty beat up

I can confirm this from my own experience, my band may not have been metal, but I sure was, metal enough to make up for the fact that we were an instrumental jazz rock trio. Wish I still had the pics so I could show off my meaty calves.Shorts are accepted in Metal. As long as they are past the knee.
