Roasted maple necks. Tuning stability?

All the necks I have are Warmoth, and their necks are lightly roasted color wise. A lot of folks like that look, and I don’t know why the body shape would change that preference.
I think the issue comes into play when you get into the neck through body designs, and multi-ply construction. It's more of a cosmetic thing. All FSOs seem to have bolt-on necks so having different color wood in the neck is fine.
