PLEASE do. . . I've had my eye on Rob's Deep basses and I'd love to hear how they compare to the MB-2. As soon as I can afford to have him build me one, I will give him a call. I think he is building some of the finest instruments being made today... period. Amazing basses............
The lightwave is different. I am not saying there is anything wrong with the other Zons. It is all taste anyway but if you are into fretless try the lightwave.
I'm still in love with this bass. I still haven't gigged with it since my intonation sucks but I'm working on that. I would have liked to have a little bit brighter lines as they do disappear in dim light.
I just can't say enough about how much I like this bass. And Rob seems to be real nice guy. I had some questions about an Undercover gig bag that he uses for his Deep series. He said that he might be looking into a different gig bag in several months.
