Rock Christmas song suggestions

That bass part really cooks, and is not as tricky as it initially sounds. I'm currently pursuading my band to do it, but it's an uphill struggle right now. Maybe next christmas...

That said, it's hardly a rock tune so perhaps not a great suggestion for this thread.

Considering that much of Christmas music is of the Little Drummer Boy, Deck the Halls, White Christmas variety, I'd say that most of the pop offerings in this thread are much more rocking - even if it's the Waitresses.

Now is it a Rock song? maybe not.
But does the song rock? Absolutely.

I guess it's a matter of semantics.

We do "Santa Claus is coming to town", "Run, run Rudolph" and "Merry Christmas baby" every year. Our singer always wants to try something different. Last year we did "Last Christmas" by "Wham". Not a rocker, but we rocked it up anyway and it filled the dance floor at every December gig.
