Well, it was Syd's band originally, but yeah. Always been a huge PF fan, never been a Roger fan though.I know it was Roger's (and Nick's) band originally, but he left. In 1985. 35 years ago.
I'd say arguably he has a bigger social media presence under his own name now and hardly needs the official Floyd site to publicise whatever he's up to.
If this came up here in a Band Management post, most of us would advise him to just move on, life's too short for this sort of nonsense.
I'm a fan of PF, basically from Meddle forwards, though I don't care for The Final Cut. Waters certainly showed a great deal of talent as a songwriter during the 1970s but it sure seems like he thought he was the entire band and he, to this day, comes off as a right proper git, to be British about it.
Seriously, man, let it go. You quit, remember?
Frank Zappa was a very sharp guy when it came to business and touring, I saw a piece on youtube or somewhere that he discussed the ins and outs of navigating the biz and the financial and logistics of taking a band of hired musicians on the road, the man ran a tight ship.
Well, he needed to be! He didn't sell as many records as Zeppelin, he couldn't spend money as frivolously, on hotels and hookers and black magic, as Zeppelin!
