Roger is, was and will always be, one of the greatest bass players of all time. Period. Why? Because he played bass in one of the greatest bands of all time...and played/wrote some of the most epic timeless bass lines/songs of all time. And played them with soul and precision.
There are a thousand pro bass players that could run circles around Roger technically... but none of them wrote and played on...Meddle, Dark Side, Animals, The Wall, Wish you were here. Nuff said. Mic dropped.
