I stumbled across Roni Jonker while looking at some other bass stuff on YouTube. Apparently, he’s not very well known in the states, but enjoys a lot of work in Europe. First listening to his playing, I was amazed by his tone & feel. There’s quite a bit of his playing on YT. Check him out. Seems to do a lot of freelance & studio work besides being Ana Popovic’s euro tour bassist(for many years). He makes his Stingray SING. Enjoy!
