I prefer that position too, but I have just learned to pull it out, as a trained reflex. Strap on, plug in, pull the midrange. I don't have a definitive answer to your question, but my guess is it's not as easy as that. I'd expect the circuit to have one default EQ setting when the switch is open, and another when it's closed. You -may- be able to find a coaxial switch that's whatever yours isn't (NC vs NO) but finding that in combination with the right pot resistance and other mechanical specs (threaded shaft diameter and length, for instance) may be a challenge. I spent weeks trying to find the right replacement pot for my SKB's volume and yes, I tried Roscoe first....Question to my fellow Roscoans....I find that I like the pull position of the mid range a lot more than push....can I wire it to invert the position?
