Roscoe Club

I wish they would move those knobs away from the strings/pickups. That's a pet peeve of mine for sure.

I don't mind the knob placement. They're not located to interfere anywhere I usually play, and I actually prefer closer to farther away. Also, I save my Flamenco Rasgueado technique for nylon string guitar, and Townsend windmills for

It wouldn’t be a deal breaker for me but I would prefer that the knobs start at the 2nd knob nearest to the P pickup.
I don’t do Townsend windmills :D but it might interfere with one of Abe Laboriels right hand techniques that I rarely use (Ancient of Days solo).

Best bass over $3000: Sadowsky Verdine White model!?!

I have enjoyed observing Roscoe's artistic renditions of the Classic Modern series. Check this:

I popped over to this thread from the Roscoe bankruptcy thread to see if you had any insight, and these posts made me chuckle.

I have an NYC Verdine White that wasn't over $3000. It also isn't from 2021. My Sadowsky's knobs are in roughly the same position as the Roscoe's; for me, it isn't an issue.

On topic, I still kick myself for not buying a Century Standard 4 that I ran across a few years ago - it was only $1100, was in like-new condition, and played like a dream.

I can't get through that thread...TB being what it is, but I wish Keith well. An absolute sweetheart of a human, and a total professional

My comment about knobs is concerning how I personally play, and probably wouldn't effect most people.

Roscoe is really the only bass brand that I miss having with me. Some of the best playing and sounding (for what I like) basses around.

It's a great opportunity for Roscoe friends and supporters to visit that C11 thread, maybe sharing testimony or support, if not having done that yet : )

Kudos and thanks to those that already have.

Just stopped over there to leave a comment about how amazing Roscoes are and what a gem of a human Keith is.

I guess everyone is sleeping in ……. :)
Watching the Rose Parade, maybe... I used to do that. Turn off the insipid live commentary, put on 'Bitches' Brew' LOUD and drink mimosas...
This year the Philadelphia Mummers' Parade has been postposed until tomorrow due to rain, so I won't be watching that today.
I still have the same 3 Roscoes I have posted before ( 5-, 6-, 7- ) so there's not much point posting them again. They do everything I need so I have no plans for anything new.
