That sienna burst was all Keith- I wanted a blue stain/burst- but he wasn't having it! Well, he did say that he'd give me what I wanted at the end of the day; however he really thought this piece of wood needed something else. One thing I've learned in life is to always trust the guy who knows what he's doing- so I trusted the artist and I'm really glad I did!
Well that was certainly a great call on his part! The way that the spalting shows in the top through the transparent tint is just gorgeous!

Yes; Spanish Cedar body, box elder top. It's my #1 player.
My primary backup. I'm doing an audition with a country project Saturday, and it'll get the nod on that. I'll spring the fretless 6 on 'em _after_ I get the job ;-)
Standards were only available in Chrome back then though so all the knobs were chrome (except the black plastic bottom to the concentric).
