My first Roscoe was an SKB fretless 3006 Spanish cedar with a Boxelder top. So wish I had kept that beauty. Lovely bass sir.

I have one with those wood combinations! It’s not a Roscoe and it’s a passive Jazz 5’er, but it is a light weight, easy to play, 18mm string spacing with a killer tone, beast.Maple on Ash with heavily figured Maple board and ordered in a 34 scale.its exactly 9 lbs
I always prefer simplicity, and that looks amazingThe artistry of the Roscoe shop always fascinates me, especially when it comes to beautiful, minimalist design. Elegant and stunning simplicity.

I’m struggling with the 35” scale and the wide string spacing. It’s cozy but still quite the workout.Good to see someone FINALLY bought that beauty!!
That's why I don't own a Roscoe myself any longer...would have to go custom, and that's real $$....but they play and sound soooo greatI’m struggling with the 35” scale and the wide string spacing. It’s cozy but still quite the workout.
While understanding the challenge of change, I also appreciate the reward of patient adaptation, especially as it pertains to acclimating to a new instrument. It's likely that the more you play the new bass, the easier it will get. Then, before you know it, you'll likely be asking yourself what the initial fuss was about. Enjoy the opportunity!I’m struggling with the 35” scale and the wide string spacing.
