Yeah, I tried it with some neck pickup bias and it seemed to have a little more something. I may try that next time I play out and see how it works.Same here. I typically turn the fader slightly towards the neck pickup to get a bit more of that P bass "grind". I don't know the electronics details (or even if it's true) but I read somewhere that the center detent position on the pickup fader really is slightly lower output than off center. Maybe phase cancelation? I think Kiesel talks about using a proprietary circuit to "fix" that. Hazy memory though.
