Mine are all grown up, and their children are all grown up too and gone.
My roadies are a couple of luggage carts and a four-wheels carrier. So glad power adequate class D amps came along, basses and gear got lighter, and going amp-less on stage became popular.

Yeah, I sling a couple basses, my Pelican case for my DI and stuff, and for cover band gigs I have to haul in a synth and stand, but 2 trips max usually. I don't miss hauling a rig at all. We all help with FOH and lights.

I have to be honest- A Mono (m80 or Vertigo) with the Tick seems to fit the bill for me- one bass, and a separate case for my pedalboard, and I'm all set for the load in.

I won't be on public transit, it's loaded in the back of my Subaru Outback, but the convenience backpack straps and not having the carry it briefcase style is very nice. Being able to put it all together and open doors for myself is also going to be very nice.

Always love the way those look in promo info. In real life, backpack straps are unusable for me. 6'3" tall + wearing bass like a backpack = headstock hitting door jams. It happened 1x and the lesson was learned. Happy to report that it was a damage-free lesson.

Now I use the mid-front-located gig bag handle, keeping bass center of gravity low, nicely balancing weight carried in opposite hand.

I’m 5’9 and it does sometimes hit the door frame or the ceiling in stairwells, but i usually just use one strap and i’m good.

Being able to put it all together and open doors for myself is also going to be very nice.

Right, the backpack carry is not my thing either. I have used one strap over a shoulder (mostly the right shoulder - long story) when needed. That’s why I like the strap pouch on the M80 so much, since the straps aren’t the detachable type. I store them and forget them. Perfect!

I was looking at the Tick when I bought my second M80. I opted to go with a hard shell Apache case. I love this case! It holds a lot of what I need, rugged, padded, lockable and cheap. Plus, it’s a great place to attach those product decals that we all love to get and stick on gear stuff.

I do, however, have a Levy's Leather bag that's 25+ years old, been around the world 3 times, and still looks brand new. It was very expensive, but it's paid for itself many times.

I was actually looking for one of those recently and I could only find fabric ones in stock anywhere.

I’ve had just about every double bag available over the past 30 years and what I love the most about the Undercubags is that they aren’t too bulky or heavy. I still have one of the new “Roscoe” style TKL double bags and it’s not heavy but it’s huge and bulky. So it serves as storage for my Fenders lol.

Not quite sure what I’d get. My needs are covered pretty well with the P w/flats and the Century with rounds. I like playing the P lately. 4’s are fun. Yet, I still do use a 5 often. I have both. Could always just bank the funds from the Sadowsky sale for maybe an upcoming Bergantino pedal or something.

The red and maple definitely look like LG's. My favorite Roscoe body style.

Just think, had you made that decision before jumping on the Sad you could be hearing from FedEx about now.

That curly maple body appears to be solid. The original IG and FB posts show the back, and even the routed electronics cavity looks like it's all maple. I'm personally not one of those guys who insists on a light-weight bass -- but I do wonder just how heavy a solid maple SKB would turn out to be.

The Carvin 5 I played back in the early 90s was solid maple, and it was a heavy beast. I didn't realize until years later because it was all I had.
