Roscoe Club

Spent time with all of my Roscoe basses yesterday. It is very easy for me to pick up a Roscoe and play for hours.... Even after gigging on Fri and Sat. I love my sixes and feel more and more comfy on them all the time but it is true , a Roscoe 5 is sweet perfection. My Century 5JJ is indeed all that and a bag of chips and the RMLE SKB 5 is that in spades. I love the tones and I can play them effortlessly.

Hey guys,
The basses I've seen on the 3 club threads are just fantastic!
I think the first time I encountered a Roscoe was back in the mid/early 90's. A music dealer in Dallas had a bunch of 3x5 photos (assumably from Keith) of the most impressive basses I had ever seen. He let me keep some of the photos and he finally got a few in to play and they felt and sounded fantastic.

Hey Gard...I know it's a a drive, but, do you guys maybe plan on being at the Dallas (May) or Arlington, TX guitar show?

Whenever I am watching TV I have my Roscoe in hand. I try to ear train by playing the commercials. My wife gets upset when I keep playing into a TV Show but she still loves me. :D

It's doubtful, those shows are not like a NAMM show, where you are working to attract retailers - and we don't do direct-to-the-public sales, so such an investment of time and capital won't work out well for us....maybe one or more of our retailers will be there though!

:)

Totally understandable.
I'm sure I'll run into somebody with a few Roscoes at one of those two shows. The Arlington one is hyoooge!

Maybe Rocket Music needs a booth :D

Or maybe the fam needs a vacation in Greensboro, lol.

I have a new bass waiting for me there:

I got the new custom knobs from Roger at THG this week for my Roscoe Fretless.
He does such a good job of matching the woods on your bass!:)

Here's a picture of the fretless .....
