Okay. This one checks a lot of boxes. And I've got a big bonus coming up thanks to our rich uncle Sam in Washington DC.

I just have to sell my old mid 90s Jackson Concert series- my first 5 string.
My mind is racing....
Interesting. Duncan quarter pounders, Bourns pots, passive with no preamp. Wenge wedge neck / fingerboard with solid Ash body that @Freddy-G. will certainly appreciate . .
I played the LG3000 at GC again yesterday. It’s a fantastic bass. Still haven’t pulled the trigger. The neck has a pretty thick profile (front to back) compared to my Century 5’s. It’s closer to my Classic P. Not a deal breaker, just something I noticed. Still plays great and sounds like a Roscoe. The pics don’t do it justice. Looks amazing in person.
Silly question on TB but is that LG4 going to give you anything that your Century 5 does not? Versus a Roscoe J Bass?
I gain nothing. It’s just a nice bass. My son said the same thing. Just be happy with what you have. That’s what I tell him all the time. He saving up for a new XBox or something. I said you need to stop spending money on guitar stuff. He said the same to me. 
That's a pretty cool LG4 with the waterfall Bubinga and the reverse slant pickups.
I have no desire to play 4 string anymore, but that's one that actually looks appealing to my eye.
That’s a nice bas as well. But again, I need to listen to my son. I have a fretted 5 soaps, fretless 5 soaps, a 4p and a decent 4jazz. I’m pretty covered.

I played the Roscoe STD Plus 6 today for the first time. It sounded great in the IEM’s and house. Great classic ash body Roscoe Bart/Bart tone. Out of the 5 songs we played I think that I only played one note on the C string.
But it was a blast to play and I really believe that the extra mass of the 6 string neck adds some nice warmth and punch to the overall tone.
After the service I told our keyboard and drummer that playing the 6 at church was a bit like driving a Ferrari in a school zone.
Not so sure how often I’ll play it at church but I’m really going to enjoy recording with it and playing it at jams sessions.

Just because there’s a C or a B doesn’t mean you have to use them all the time, right? I think the extra mass makes a difference as well. I still wish I had stuck to my 6 for longer. It was a beautiful bass. Sounded great. Easy more than you might think to play.
Even on jazz gigs I don't use the C string a lot but I appreciate it when I do. So many notes under your fingers without shifting is very nice.
Another side benefit of playing positions and knowing what notes are under your fingers makes it much easier to play fretless with good intonation.
I have been playing my Ibanez GWB205 a lot lately. It is a very nice bass for a modest price when purchased used. I had Brady Muckleroy even out the fingerboard and now it plays perfectly.

I didn't know Roscoe ever made a wenge / purple heart neck. That's pretty wild.
I'm still waiting for confirmation from Roscoe, but it does look like that to me.
Yeah. It’s definitely purpleheart. It actually looks like a wedge neck found on Signatures (yet it doesn’t have the volute or Pearl “R” on the headstock).
Very unique.
