Roscoe Club

I spun that thing like a Maytag and it still took a day.
No spraying involved - I used this:

But it's working now and I am happy.
Just a note that if you wait until it's a big problem, it may take a little while for the magick...

Cool! Good news.
I'll have to get a bottle of that.
I think that you'll find that if you rotate the knobs a few times prior to playing (every time) you won't have any more issues.
Consider it similar to the way you're suppose to stretch and loosen up prior to running or playing a sport.

I've bought back (and sold again - 6 just isn't my thing) a 6 and I tried to but back my fretless 5 string - the only bass I regret selling really. When I get the funds I will have them build me another.

I may be on a bit of an upright tangent for a bit. I need a challenge and to get back into some "legit" playing - maybe chamber music.

Would never want to turn this into anything but a ROSCOE thread, but here we go. I have been quite respectful of your beloved Saints and remain so. But we owe you one, and we certainly can't settle the score in the preseason, but what a FUN 1/2 game it should be! Suffice it to say, I am glad Drew is healthy and that he can play tonight.

Best of luck! (pun intended)

PS: Let's hope and pray we all stay healthy tonight - maybe we will be lucky enough to meet again in the post season!

NOTE: Game Over: WOW, I really thought Drew would have some rust on the pipes, but what an amazing performance! You guys kicked butt - CONGRATS!

Dave,
We should have it scheduled within the next few weeks. I need to talk to Dennis and see if we can have it in the traditional venue. If not we'll find an alternate place that will be convenient to I-75.

Details to follow ........

Well, if I get a vote I say we should have it at the USAF Museum. All of my favorite things would be in one place! Mmmm: airplanes, bass and bbq.

Yeah, rust and Drew don't happen man, you shoulda known that. Y'all have some real potential, should take the AFC South again, but I don't see the Colts in the "big game" just yet...couple years to go.

We're looking pretty good so far, but all the "experts" are still predicting that the Pampers will win the NFC South....personally, I think they're (the "experts") lazy, and didn't realize that Carolina has no experienced WR's, an OL that looks like my spaghetti strainer, and what is very likely the worst set of DB's in the NFL (the front 7 is beastly, but if you don't get to the QB within 2-3 seconds, it won't matter when the ball is already in the end zone)....REALLY looking forward 7 September and the beginning of our yearly destruction of the Failclowns season.

Hey Gard

Yeah, we played superbly in the first half of the two first games, even though the 2-3-4 stringers blew those games and they were losses. The first teams looked super. Of course it was the Giants and the Jets.

You guys were playing in mid season form or even better than that, for sure. It will be tough for anyone to take down the Saints this year from what I saw!

Hey, don't know if you heard, but this AM they said that Fig Newton has a cracked rib. Might just be a little helpful if they hold him out for awhile.

Yeah, I saw the report on sCam Noo-tone, the prognosis on the Pampers season went from mediocre to "oh crap" pretty much right there. They're trying to say he'll be fine in game 1, but that's nuts. No way that heals in time. If they do play him with that injury that soon, he is likely to end up on the IR pretty quickly - especially with that OL.

Good luck on finding that 4 string!
