They haven't done a neck-through for a long while...It is a Roscoe. That was for sure.
A photo of the headstock and the upper horn/neck around the 12th fret might help.

Body size & shape. What makes an LG or SKB?? New to the whole Roscoe world
It is a Roscoe. That was for sure. Not mine though. I got a chance to play it on Saturday. Was trying to figure out what it was. Only thing I found out about it is that it had a Spalted top. Purpleheart fretboard (He called it Sap wood part of the purpleheart), Bart p'ups and an Aggie OB1 Preamp.
Do you have a better photo of it? It doesn't look like anything we've built....
What Gard failed to mention is customer service. I am a nobody. Just a simple, middle aged guy out in the boonies who plays at church and subs once in a while. Yet, I am treated with the utmost respect and at times, patience. From my retailer (Greg at Rocket Music) to Gard at Roscoe, I never feel like I'm wasting their time or being (too much of) a bother. I'm so glad I got to meet Greg and Gard and Keith a couple years ago. Wonderful people. And who set up my fretless before it left the shop? Keith. Just like I assume he set up James Cooks' bass before it left the shop that week as well. Can't say enough, but I always try as this is the way a business should be run and feel - like a family.

Are we all talking about this same picture ?....just looked again, very closely, and noticed that it had that odd almost Carl Thompson-esque upper horn...

Yeah - hence the confusion - he said he posted the wrong one, and re-posted that one (in a composite). That's not the same photo that is up above....
Could anyone help me with an attempt at a model number on this Roscoe??

Very well said Steve, a bunch of us share the same sentiment. Though, I think Databass5 and I are the only ones to ever get kicked out of the shop.![]()
How does one get kicked out of the shop?
If you're a Windows guy, IrfanView is free and hard to beat.Don't have any software to crop or photoshop a pic.
We suggested Roscoe have a company in China make a sub $1,000 bass similar to the KSD. We both were immediately slapped on the back of the head and kicked out.
Seriously, do you honestly think Keith or Gard would kick anyone out of the shop, I was being facetious.
Greg posted a quick clip of my new fretless.
