...."Gard fans"?!?!?The only fans I have hang off the ceiling, right? Why would an appliance want to see photos of my basses?
For the record, right now, my "stable" is 3 basses:
Century Standard 5 JB Fretless, Trans White over ash, Bart J's in "JB" spots & Bart 3-band, unlined fretless Black Diamondwood ("Stormtrooper")
Century Standard 5M Fretted, Charcoal Burst over ash, Aggie AG-5M & OBP-3 preamp, Bird's Eye Maple fingerboard ("Vader")
NS Design CR5M
That's it, not much to talk about there, my tastes are pretty simple actually.
Was I dreaming? Didn't you have an upright?
I hear really good things about the NS stuff....
The bluegrass guys & gals I play with were quite tolerant of my Roscoe fretless, but they really lit up when I brought out the NXT-5.The NS is pretty damn solid, actually. I love the thing.
I was the guy that called "no inlays" for those. I'm a pretty "clean lines, no clutter" kind of cat - plus, it's less labor and helps keep the costs down.![]()

I'm not Gard, and I don't have a CR-5M -- but I do have an NXT-5.Gard, what is the five string neck shape like? The 4 is quite rounded on the back.
Um...excuse me but...WHAT IS THAT AND WHERE DO I GET ONE?
