Roscoe Club

Good news: you don't have to put the buttons on the bass, just the stuff on the strap.
...I so wanted to believe you ...
I understand you were using 'you' quite broadly.
#5199 had the Dunlop buttons; #3199 did not. (But it does now...)
For the 'E' clip, this:

is my tool of choice. They're pliers designed for all the stuff you're not supposed to use pliers for. The curved channel in the jaw surface makes it a perfect match for the radius of the pin and the edge of the E-clip.

Big doings afoot in Roscoeland, they will keep me and the rest of Roscoedom a bit overly occupied for the next few months
So my takeaway there was no Christmas Hoodies, no Christmas polos, no Christmas knit caps...
What's a Roscoe fanboi to do ?

Hey, just an update. I got my Roscoe (I think I'm calling her Baby Jane for no particular reason), and I absolutely get the enthusiasm. This thing is incredible!

Happy bass face pic included

Not on TB much these days but I was cleaning up my music room this week and came upon a custom made Roscoe ramp that came on one of my 3006 SKB basses. I don't have a need for it so I thought that I'd offer it up to any Roscoehead that needs one. The only requirement is that you use it (and use it on a Roscoe). If you get it and it's not your thing just promise that you'll send it to another Roscoehead that will use it.
First Roscoehead to send me a PM (just can't seem to call it a "conversation" :) ) with your shipping address get's it.

I'll post a pic. The dimensions are 1.375 x 4.5625 (that would be 1 3/8 x 4 9/16 for the decimal challenged :)).

Have a happy Thanksgiving!

Absolutely killin' finish on that - just beautiful. Also like the purpleheart fingerboard to go with the neck center laminate. Are those Aggie DCB pickups with an OBP-3? Nicely done!

Thank you and yes, DCB pickups / OBP-3 pre amp. I bought it from a shop in the UK who had ordered it in 2014 and it was still on the shelf. After I played it I had to have it!

I have today purchased a Roscoe Century Signature 5. Very happy. I went in for a Dingwall and came away with a big smile after playing this. The playability and sounds are awesome! These are the shop photos of the one I have. Aguilar pre amp and pickups.

You're super lucky to have that. I've looked at it many times since it was posted on the Roscoe fb and then on Bass Direct's site. If it weren't for the weight, and the fact that it was in the UK (silly to incur the cost and trouble to import it back to North America) I probably would have grabbed it. Enjoy, I bet it sounds incredible and it certainly looks it.
