I would say that was Databass5 about to poach a Roscoe but I think he only plays Brubaker's now.
Poachdog reference!!!
Poor Kevin, he knows not what he has gotten himself into....

I was surprised to hear he switched to Brubaker as I have never played one that came close to a Roscoe.
The 3-piece maple neck is an option for a Custom, not vice versa however, and no, you cannot order a standard with a solid maple body![]()

Not yet anyway!
As the Doobies once said "What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits" ....... or the Roscoe translation: "What Were Once Not Options are Now Options".
I love Black Hardware!!!![]()
Post pictures he will ........
Crappy cell phone pictures. You get the idea.

1 piece walnut body, wenge neck, wenge board. Bart electronics . Yoda.Very nice. What are the woods on that?
I think the maple necks are truer to the note. IMHP.A solid maple body with a standard neck?
You really have no idea. Ask Gard ?That walnut is absolutely beautiful!

It's gorgeous. Is it a bit on the heavy side with a warm but focused tone?1 piece walnut body, wenge neck, wenge board. Bart electronics . Yoda.
Not heavy at all. 8 lbs and some change. Most versatile bass I have! It's gorgeous. Is it a bit on the heavy side with a warm but focused tone?

Very cool. I had a bass built and asked about a walnut body but was told it would make the bass heavy. Is the warm and focused tone accurate? Nice growl when you dig in?Not heavy at all. 8 lbs and some change. Most versatile bass I have!
Walnut basses , I have 4. 2 Roscoes and 2 MTDs. The one in the photos is the lightest but none are uncomfortable!Focus but not warm. But not harsh either! I'm not good at describing tone. My maple top walnut body with Aguilar DCBs and OPB 3 pre is a little more aggressive but it's really funky. Walnut works if you want some edge. And it's clear as a bell!
