Yeah, the Dunlop Superbright nickel, 120-40 set.
Always loved the feel of DR HB's and after they break in, their sound on my Roscoe. The HB set that was just on my Roscoe would not mellow out.
I think I really like these Dunlops in lighter gauge. Except the .120 B is a tad floppy. Maybe a .125 or .130 might be perfect.

Yes I ordered a set and have them on a Warrior right now and like them. My favorite but they are regularly around $38 a set. Would like to find something as good cheaper lol.

Yeah I understand that! That's why the SuperBrights work great for me, they are dirt cheap and luckily the best strings I've ever used. Love the huge mids, I've not found a string yet with better mids than SuperBright Nickels.
I had a bad experience with BSO recently... but at a price like this... I had to jump! Thanks for the heads up!
In the thousands of dollars' experience I have had with them, they will always make it right.
Very good! I've been ordering from Jason since he opened for business and have never had any type of issues. I've never even heard of a single 'bad' experience with him. Any issues that do pop up are either minor or resolved right away. One thing that can happen is that certain brands can take longer to ship because the strings he sells are fresher than Grandma's baked bread and they have to literally make the strings.
I replace strings on an 'as needed' basis but always before the Bass Boot Camp.
Last year's Bass Boot Camp Goodie Bag came with a set of Dunlop Super Bright Stainless so I finally got around to putting those on the SKB 3006 Fretless that has previously worn only D'Addario EXL-170-6 Nickel Rounds. (I did have a brief infatuation with FlexSteels, enough so that I still have 3 sets...) So far, I'm liking the Dunlops but they're too new for me to be able to evaluate lifetime. Don't know if I like them enough that they'll replace the D'Addario Nickel Rounds, but I like them a lot better than dead Nickel Rounds ;-) ... Tension must be similar enough that no real neck adjustment seems necessary, although I'm having to tinker a string height or two to get the mwah back where I want it... I think these are the first round-core strings I've used, but for the most part, they don't feel that much different, at least to my fingers...

It was surprisingly difficult to find a reference for that - it doesn't appear anywhere on the Dunlop site I could find, outside the BassPlayer magazine review. Certainly the ends I clipped off - including the .130 B - appeared round enough. I was looking for hex, and couldn't see or feel any. If there's another set in this year's goodie bag I'll be looking really closely ;-)

I'm not trying to sound crazy but what is the diffrence in Round Core or Round Wound with Hex Core?
Well it's kinda hard to answer that worded like it is. Let's remove the 'round core' part and just say the difference in hex core and round core. The core is the 'base' of the string, it's what the string is wound on. Hex core is of course hex shaped, and round core is....well...round!
Other than that, honestly, there's not a cut and dry difference in them. It's kinda like describing the difference in Coke and Pepsi. They are just two different things and the performance is all in the design. Lots of people will say that round core makes a looser feeling string and hex core is a stiffer string but GHS and Dunlop proved that wrong. GHS makes a stiff round core string (round core Boomers) and Dunlop makes a low tension hex core (SuperBrights). It's just all in the design.

Round wound is the outer winding of the string. Round Wound can be hex core or round core. There's also flat wound, ground wound, half round, and others. Any of them can be wound on a hex or round core.
