All true. The neck will have a Wenge center, and a Wenge finger board. The 12th fret marker will be a "bass clef" done in a piece of the same Walnut used on the top, and a matching headstock.

Rumor is I'm in the "two week club"

Beautiful Johnny! That is going to be one killer Roscoe! I don't believe that I've seen a custom Century model with the slanted P/U's.

That is the new, optional 5MM 5 string spacing. It looks very 'fast'.

So I'm experiencing some serious neck dive with my Roscoe, which is weird because my 4 string Roscoe was so well balanced. I adjusted my strap to raise the position of my bass but its definitely not a comfortable playing position for me. I usually wear my bass at hip level and have for years.

Any suggestions here? Better strap maybe?

Get a wider strap (one that isn't smooth on the inside). I use a 4" wide strap most of the time. I have found that when the upper horn doesn't go out as far as the 12th fret, there's a risk of neck dive.

Or you could hang some weights off the end pin.

This one arrived last night and man does it have a sweet tone!!!

I think this one is shorted than your 30" scale Keith! And the low B is to die for! The strings are literally laying on the finger board.

I assume you have that very small body model. Yeah, not the best balance on the strap. I was quite frankly not very interested in the Roscoe's until they came out with the more traditional body style of the Century, which balances beautifully in 5 string + configurations.

If I've said it once I've probably said it 1,000 times. I've owned 26 Roscoe's, over 1/2 of them LG models (and the rest of them SKB & Century models), and I just don't get this balance thing that you guys talk about. Maybe I'm just made different than you guys.
I've always used Comfort Straps and the bass just stays where I put it.
I'm thinking that maybe you guys just need to take some Testosterone and man up a bit.

Nice bass Joe! Is the entire bass made from one piece of spalted maple? I can't wait to play it at the gtg. I'll bring a fork!
