So what do you guys clean your instruments with, if it doesn't have the thick poly finish? I'd like to get some of the fingerprints and such off mine without messing it up with polishes that will just cloud it up worse.

I like Howard's Feed n' Wax; it's a blend of orange oil and bees wax.
Most modern, wooden clarinets are made of Grenadilla (Dalbergia melanoxylon) also known as African Blackwood, which some mistake for ebony.I use Weinberg's Bore oil on all of my unsealed fretboards when they look like they need it... It's what clarinetists use on their ebony instruments...
