Roscoe Club

Alright Roscoe fans...I’m down to these 2 basses I believe. Both have same electronics but one is special run Stabdaed plus Century and other is Custom Century. What is the better buy? The custom is actually cheaper .

The "Stabdaed" is absolutely beautiful! :)
Remember: Custom doesn't necessarily mean better. Custom can happen due to something like scale, string spacing, or any other small detail that is not "Stabdaed".

I am a HUGE fan of the Standard Plus basses. I am also a fan of Rocket Music and I believe the Standard Plus is a limited edition run that was ordered thru Rocket Music. If I needed another Roscoe fretted 5 I'd get the RMLE Standard Plus bass for sure.

That's beautiful. I LOVE the SKB basses. Mine is basically the fretless version of that with a expo maple top, swamp ash body, black gold paint job, and Bart Js / JB config.

Very nice! I almost got a SKB, but found a LG3005 here on TB and really dig that body style - like it so much, I ordered another one!

I’ve narrowed down to these 2 and will purchase one of them. Both are mint custom basses with one being all Bart and the other all Aguilar. I’m torn and not sure what to purchase. How about you Roscoe family? The Flamed Myrtle has a Walnut body and the Black Burst has Alder body.

Walnut bodies sound really nice on a Roscoe. I've only owned one Roscoe with an alder body and it was ..... just OK.
The walnut with the Roscoe Bart/Bart combo would make me lean toward it (especially since you have the P/J config on your current Roscoe). I can't tell if that's Pau verro or Mac Ebony finger board but either on tends to be more consistent than maple (on a Roscoe). Their finger boards tend to be fairly thin and maple (especially figured or birdseye maple) can sometimes have a few dead spots.
