Roscoe Club

Nice to see a renewed interest in Roscoe basses, thanks to campbems. I vote for the Century, but it's not my cash. Don't worry too much about the electronics, you can change that if needed, but you can't change the body style or woods. I have two Century Signatures, one with Bartolini electronics and one with Aguilar electronics. I love both of them, two slightly different flavors of awesome. It's nice to have a choice.

I’ve narrowed down to these 2 and will purchase one of them. Both are mint custom basses with one being all Bart and the other all Aguilar. I’m torn and not sure what to purchase. How about you Roscoe family? The Flamed Myrtle has a Walnut body and the Black Burst has Alder body.

Hooked by Roscoe!!! Buy them both and save yourself the anguish from not deciding to buy the other with just the one in hand!! :D

Well I have my 2nd Roscoe coming my way. A 2016 Century Standard Custom Black Burst. Really looking forward to adding this beauty to my stable.

First thing that you need to do when it arrives is adjust the string ball ends at the bridge so they all line up hole side up.
No way that bass will play in tune with the stings installed like that! :D

First thing I'm doing is taking off the Stainless DR strings as I don't like Stainless strings at all lol. He done a demo video for me and this thing sounded amazing and powerful. B string was like a cannon and clear.

You beat me to it!

I'm with you on that. DR nickel low riders are my favorite. PM me for a killer deal on DR Strings.

Nice! I think you chose the right one.

I agree. Even if the electronics aren't your style (they're not mine), they can easily be swapped to something more personal, and the instrument is so much nicer.
