Take a look at this beauty coming back to me. I had the plek job and Aggie pickups put in my Keith and the knobs made by THGKnobs all before I sold it last time. It was the best Roscoe I’ve owned.

It does! It was a beautiful bass. So, if there was one bass I wish I hadn't sold it was that SKB! The finish on that bass was amazing, with the back as lovely as the front and matching headstock.

Been through so many: G&L, Fender, Aria, Modulus, Pedulla, Sadowsky Metro, Ibanez, STR, Benavente, Drozd, Antares, Riverhead, Surine, Warwick, Human, Steinberger, Smith, Elrick, Roscoe, MTD. Without a doubt the winners are: MTD, Roscoe, Elrick and Smith. Wish I hadn't sold my Elrick Platinum SCs or MTD 7 string. I am down to:

1. MTD AG 6 (USA)
2. MTD AG 5 (USA)
3. Roscoe Century Signature 5 (Exhibition Quilt Maple JJ w/wedge neck)
4. Roscoe Century Signature 5 Fless (Koa JJ w/wedge neck)
5. Smith 7x7 Cocobolo 5 Fless
6. Smith 7x5 Quilt Maple White Tiger 5

I think there may be one more Roscoe in my future (headless is a bit intriguing but will probably go for another Century Signature 5 with soap bars with a headstock). I sold the orange one above a few years ago (wish I had it back).

@Hughforik, That fretless Roscoe is gorgeous! Interesting that the fret lines for the upper register are on the bottom edge of the neck. How do you see those?

I actually spent some time looking for the person I sold that SKB to. What am I doing? Is this... 'Sold Bass Envy'?

I sold it thinking my bass ownership was progressively moving upward!!! Looking back, it was only moving sideways, with a up/down burp every now and then.

Lol...I’ve had the same symptoms the last few years.

You know, it's all Joe's fault!!!! With all his postings about this bass and that bass, and how much better this bass is to some other bass... and, oh yea, all the talk about the neck on the current bass is the best in the industry.
I wouldn't be surprised if he was getting a kick back from all bass sales from the TB Classifieds.

Dang- that orange one has been around. Last i saw, Fret Spot sold it (I think, or GC). I was so close to getting it on here once, just didn’t pull the trigger in time...
