Roscoe Club

I

Also, has anyone tried a Pope preamp in a Roscoe? Not sure if the cavity is deep enough or not.

I have one in my SKB but, the pickups are Nordstrand. Compared to the Bart and Aggie the Pope is VERY transparent, almost to a fault. Nothing is compressed with it. I never knew how mid forward the Nords are until I installed the Pope. For full disclosure, I have a pair of Aggie DCBs and OBP-3 on order right now.

Thanks. That probably wouldn't work for me then since I do like a bit of compression. I think I'd like to try Barts with the Aggie preamp.

In!

Thanks. My fav of those three is the Roscoe barts/Demeter.

Sound samples like these are very helpful.

Now we just need to get some of the Aggie preamp. :)
