If I were to buy another Roscoe that wasn't a Classic, it would most likely be a Century Standard 5 with 19mm spacing. I put the East J-Tone and the Honey Badger Pickups in my Classic Custom and haven't looked back.

I didn’t. I’m back to using DAddario nickels like yhe stick strings. I like the sound and they are cheaper. Good enough for Keith...

I’m back to EXL170s on my SKB too, after a few sets of Dunlop SuperBright Nickels. The 170s just sound right on that bass to me at present.

I know Greg dropped the price of the SKB but I already have a great Roscoe 5 string. Don’t really need another 5. This would be a nice ying to my 5 strings yang...

Do any TB'ers know the story on this LG 3006? For quite awhile, this has shown up on the GC site multiple times, only to be sold and reappear at a different location. It looks like people are requesting it being brought to their location and they are either refusing or returning it. Generally not a good sign. Just wondering what a buyer might be getting into.

I am not familiar with this Roscoe. It looks like it has Nordstrand Dual coil pups maybe?

6 string neck on an LG body. That's a big neck on a little body. Might be tough to play? And it doesn't have the angled pickups. Perhaps it's missing the signature Roscoe sound?

There are "a few" (3?) LG 7's. The last word on those was 'never again' ...
That said, the LG isn't that much smaller than an SKB, and I don't find the neck/body issue to be a factor on my 6 or 7...

I’ve brought a number of items to the Bellingham location. They charge shipping each time. There’s also my suspicion there’s something wrong with the Roscoe in question.

Still, for $1,800 and a few hundred if needed to fix something, not too bad of an investment for arguably one of if not the the best playing 6 string necks out there. It looks like an older body style but still sweet.

I reweighed the Roscoe Classic PJ5 after playing it several times. No weigh (you see what I did there) was it 9.27lbs. Yup, closer to 11.5/12 lbs. Easier to figure out when most of your basses are 7/8 lbs.
