That's a nice weight! My fretless Roscoe weighs in at 7.4 lbs. I use a leather strap with swede backing to keep it positioned like I like it.
To wrap it all up though I'm in love with this classic , It's become a main bass and it's inspiring to play . I went from the 3 banger that I barely played to this I take out with me to every jam . Best trade deal ever . Thanks again Roscoe !

Yeah sometimes it’s about acoustic guitars, P Basses and country bands but the signal still seems to be coming through.

Ok. Let’s here it for Roscoe Standards! I have three of them and they are by far the finest instruments I have, and I have a fairly decent stable. The B strings and across the board clarity is just phenomenal. When I use them in my country band, I get grins from the piano player and guitarist when I hit the B string. They both play bass and know how good that $4!+ sounds.
