Roscoe Club

Ok. Let’s here it for Roscoe Standards! I have three of them and they are by far the finest instruments I have, and I have a fairly decent stable. The B strings and across the board clarity is just phenomenal. When I use them in my country band, I get grins from the piano player and guitarist when I hit the B string. They both play bass and know how good that $4!+ sounds.
Here...Here!

So many unique, stunning, and creative artworks from Keith Roscoe and colleagues in his NC custom shop. Amazing designs, gorgeous woods, joyful willingness to custom spec, and phenomenal customer service for decades. Appreciatively grateful for Roscoe contributions and commitment to the art of the bass!

Neuroman: "This pickup configuration is set up for growl! So, I call the toggle my "Gnar-owly switch." Front bridge pup = Growly. Back bridge pup = Gnarly. Both bridge pups = Gnar-owly (gnarly growly).

Both neck and outside bridge PUPs are closer to the bridge than any of the F* Jazz configurations. Since the neck PUP is closer to the bridge it kind of wrecks any attempts at comparing with J configurations.

The neck pup has surprising punch at that spot, but I know I under-utilize it vis-a-vis its capabilities. ."

I see 3 of Joe's Glitch videos in my Roscoe Club feed today...super glitchy!

LOL

I finally saw the sticky that stated to clear your history (probably due to the new server).
I kept seeing the same new old post from 2 days ago in my alerts and my post kept disappearing ...... So I posted them over and over and over and over and over .........

Beautiful.

Wow, all these gorgeous Roscoes. . Roscoes-on-parade. . Here's another, with a lovely purpleheart fingerboard, and inspired introduction.

"This is the finest, most well-crafted instrument that I've ever touched. It sounds like a grand piano and an opera singer begat a talented child. It just sings."

Speaking of purpleheart, did you see that Keith just crafted an entire neck from solid purpleheart? He said that it didn't weigh any more than maple. . and he's happy to make more. It's pictured below on the right, with more photos on the The Real Roscoe Guitars Page, Facebook.

Those are some nice looking basses, but man, I really like the carved tops that come with the custom series.

Oh what the heck .......

Me too! And some of them are fairly light weight too....

And how about those Signature Wedge necks!

Someone’s always gotta’ one up me :D
One up? Don't really think of it like that. Your SKB is stunning. Enjoy seeing all of the thematic variations, and imagining how they sound.

It's more about appreciating differences in these Roscoe objets d'art, and learning about the spectrum of body styles, series types, vintages, and wood, hardware, electronics, and finish types.
