We’re not country but we have guitar, drums, keys, bass and hot chick singer.
Here's a quick video of my SKB with auto wah effect added. I like "auto wah" because it sounds like my city.

Thanks. We are in the process of making a new video and recordings. This band is the band that asked me not to bring any other bass other than my Roscoe lol.
Ok. Back in the game here with this. My favorite Roscoe to date. Beautiful build and thunderous bottom. My first satin finish (no gloss) and I think I prefer it.

I can not believe that I'm posting this! Any of your guys that know me know that I am obsessed with my basses being mint (and staying mint). The thought of owning a "Road Worn" bass goes totally against the grain for me.
We'll I guess that God has a sense of humor. I ordered a new Fender 50's Precision last week and when it arrived last night I was shocked when I opened the factory sealed box. Inside the gig bag was not a shiny new 50's Precision but was a Road Worn 50's Precision!
Once I got over the initial shock I figured I may as well play it (before I send it back). What!?!? The bass has some kind of crazy mojo. Then I tweaked the setup. Crap!!!
This bass is the real deal! I'm thinking that this bass must really be 60+ years old! ......... I decided to keep it!

You know, I didn't think I'd like satin either, but those pics... wow. That is a beaut!
I didn’t either. But this one speaks to me. You can see the carving on the top much better without the gloss. Feels more organic. The angles appear more dramatic because the gloss isn’t fooling your eye.

You are right...not Roscoe content!!
You are okay, and the bass is okay, if you’re into overly worn looking basses.
Nice bass for a Fender, I guess.

I had to take a closer look at this bass. For a minute I thought that was our old bass, @JOME77!

Yeah, they are damn good basses. You think its great now? Replace the electronics and pickups which in my opinion are not too good. I installed an Obsidian solderless harness and Duncan Antiquity II as well as TI flats and the bass is amazing. It was my main player but unfortunately I don't play 4 strings much anymore.
Although I enjoy the tone of a Fender Jazz or Precision very much, their large clunky bodies cut into my rib cage to the point of pain and lingering soreness.
So, no body larger than an SKB for me, and LGs fit the bill, too. Plus, I love Roscoe 35" scale and its tonal results with low B. Roscoe Barts and Bart 3-band place me exactly in the tonal range I want to be. Finally, the great customer service by guys at the Roscoe shop: they know me by name and still take my calls. .
If I were ever to try a "traditional" Leo bass again, it would have to be the Roscoe 5 version. For example, here is a sweet looking traditional Roscoe in the classifieds right this moment For Sale - Roscoe Custom Classic PJ.
However, I have been down the big slab body road enough times to know the hurtful result. So, I'll pass on the typical "traditional." Roscoe SKB or LG fivers are my traditional.
