I need to hurry up and retire!
Yeah, the TI's have a great sound. You should also try a set of La Bella Deep Talking Flats (if you haven't). Definitely old school flat sound!
My favorite flats are the Low Tension Flats from LaBella. Just perfect.
You're not helping...That p/j is amazing !

...... it's RED!and Steve ............... it's RED!
I mean look at that neck oh my
True. Sell the Nordstrands and keep the the Aguilar J just in case I want to go JJ. $1,300 Roscoe. P bass tone with a J bass neck. I like jazz necks better than P necks. That's a Roscoe for less than a new Fender. Hmm. Maybe I don't need that Sub 37 synth...
I’m having fun playing this little guy I rescued from a corner of the storage room at school.

‘74 Mustang. Put some LTF’s on it and deoxit on the pots and she’s good to go. Needs a strap button on the horn but is an amazing sounding little bass. Really fun to play and had a very “P-ish” tone.
I’ve got a few jazz gigs this summer and I think I’m bringing this for that “upright-ish” tone and feel. I play way differently on this little shorty 4 than I do in my 35” five with rounds.
