and that will be that. A pair of beautiful Roscoe's, fretted and fretless, will cover anything I will do.
My G&L JB2 will get some flats for something different.

Now, stop looking at gear, and play the damn things!

Congrats!!! Now we can stop trying to convince you to get a Classic P. (OK, we probably won't do that)

That is the plan. I have gotten a lot better than back in the day. With age comes some maturity.

Yep. I have to just accept that I am a 5 string guy. Just more comfortable there. I have my G&L JB2 that I'll put some flats on to kind of have that tone available on a 4 string if I want.

Oh no, that fretless won't cure that itch. A P-Bass is a totally different animal and every serious bass player needs one! :D

Congrats Steve!
Glad to hear that it's coming home.

Lots of people would agree with you. I may as well. But for now, I'll have to "settle" for these 5er's. I'll put flats on my G&L JB2 to help with that itch a little anyway.

...and the count down begins!!!

It was well worth the effort, right? Great Genzler gear and two special Roscoe basses for your bass playing journey!!

Leave space on the wall for the P bass.

No countdown needed. My wife insists that these two basses (designed and built just for me) will remain permanent. She always makes smarter choices than me so...

...and yes, well worth it. I have always had nice gear, but I think this is a real "keeper" set up. The Genzler combo for when I need an amp, the great little DI/IEM boards for those gigs, and a pair of awesome basses.

I think it worked out great. It seems someone upgraded that fretless for you with the new pickups. It's like getting a new/old bass. Perfect!

Congrats, Steve! Glad you have your forever fretless now...and that I can keep the other one! I guess I can fire the ninjas I had guarding it now.

Glad to send this one back to it’s original home.
I love this bass but it just wasn’t getting played. A really really versatile fretless.
