Roscoe Club

I'm just a huge fan of bass bodies that show the wood grains (mixed woods are even better) through the finish!! Painted bodies are okay, but for me, I like to see those wood grains! I've only seen a few that I didn't care for, but it was the stain that made it look strange.

It’s here, my friends! After a five month wait, my dream bass is in my hands. Thanks to Keith and Kyle Roscoe, and team. On the 'Real Roscoe Guitars' Facebook page, Keith reveals that he has made enough Root Beer color for another 100 basses.

Wow! Gary, you have changed!
Yes, I have changed. I now own an LG!:roflmao: The first thing I noticed when I pulled it out of the beautiful HSC is the smaller, lighter LG body. I love it! Then, the next thing was the incredibly low action on the fingerboard -- surprisingly low. The PLEK works!

I love the look of the LG body with straight pickups. Very elegant looking. Also really dig the extra deep carving that they're able to do with a solid body (verses one with a top).
Congrats Gary! Looking forward to playing that one soon!

Welcome to the LG Owners Club!! :thumbsup:Man, I’d hang that wood art on the wall to marvel at  and only to take it down to play on Sundays!! :bassist:All day Sundays and into the next week!

Wow, Joe. I did not realize the extra deep carving available with a solid body verses a top.
Keith asked me. Slanted or straight pickups? It's just one of my personal touches.

OK, folks. My first impressions of my new (delivered today) Roscoe with a full swamp ash body and wenge wedge neck bass. Drum roll. Pretty much like all of your Roscoe basses. FANTASTIC!. Super low action. Thank you God for that. The top rated Bartolini electronics are still the best in the business. I want to try to describe it, but I will come short. It’s all about the mids. How did Bartolini and Mr. Roscoe come up with their own sound? I love it!!!!

• FTD? I'd rather have a bouquet of Roscoes

• F ! bass?
Nah, I love it. . . Especially Roscoe

El Redenbacher?
Classic popcorn, light n fluffy. Rib stickin' bass? Roscoe

Skoal?
Give me a smokin' Roscoe any day. All the others are smokeless. . .

Roscoe: The best bass in any XYZzz comparo

Thank you! Spank me, please.:cool::roflmao:

Who’s the best? I can save you a lot of money and tell you right now. Please understand this is IMHO.

I’ve owned these basses. That said, the new Fender Elite basses are the best for the money. Sadowsky? Go ahead and pay New York prices for a Fender.

i will take this down in a while. I don't want to offend anyone.
It’s your opinion, and you haven’t said anything negative, so why take it down?
