Roscoe Club

Is it BtwoMoreWeeks? (The B is silent ;) ).

Speaking of which, I need to call him today- he still has my bass... sadly with more lockdowns coming, I doubt it'd get much use anyways :rollno:

HAHAHAHA, good one!

I had a duet gig at Medinah (Country Club) scheduled for this Friday that was just canceled Wednesday (yesterday) due to the tighter restrictions. The lost wages just keep growing.

Also had some work at CRC postponed due to the IL restrictions. So, back to no gigs and limited recording opportunities again. Hope everyone is ok financially and...healthfully.

:bawl: With a heavy heart I feel compelled to announce that we have lost a good one!!! I know you have noticed his downward sliding, but, completely surprised and blind sided, he has hit rock bottom and, worst of all, seems to love his diminished state! :crying:
I am too stricken with sadness to continue.... may B help us all!!!

IKR... and please don't ask me who it is. I hate for anyone else to feel this sadness.

Some of us have no idea what you're talking about, so if you told us, it might help the conversation.

So here's not something you see every day. Sadly, the top is kind of boring for being over 30k years old, but it could just be bad GC photography too...

So I think I'm in the minority, but I'm wondering if anyone else wishes that the classic 5's had a 3 over 2 tuner arrangement instead of the 4 over 1. I've never liked the look of 4 over 1. Fender, Sadowsky, etc. I love the 3 over 2 on the "modern" headstock. I actually think the Roscoe headstock is the best looking out there. But when it comes to the classic, even though 4 over 1 may be classic, I sure prefer the 3 over 2 like for example Lakland does on it's "jazz" type 5 strings. For example:

I'd love a shell pink bass. My daughter loves this one.
Just curious what others think about the 4/1 or 3/2 thing. I think the 4/1 looks unbalanced.

I like them both. Fender style basses look a bit more normal 4-1 to my eyes. I’m not a fan of 5 in-line though.
