I don't see how it could be user error as there isn't anything to adjust. It and the Khan Tube DI are the best DI boxes I've used.
Yeah. I remember patching it in and thinking "I thought it would make more difference that that".
It didn't sound significantly better than going straight into my audio interface.
I probably should have taken it to church and tried it in a live mix.
My band mates and sound guy notice a difference. My guitar player has had me do some lines for his pending EP. they seem to love it. I like how it makes me play and sound so that's really all that matters I guess. I forgot about Greg for recording stuff. I have my REDDI and a Focusrite Solo goi g to a way old iMac. After Christmas I'll be getting g a new MacBook instead.
Finally found some flats that just kill on my Classic P4...Labella DTF 760FL's.

Love those La Bella DTF 760FS strings on my P-bass!
760FL's are THE flatwound for me. They just get better and better. I always have a few old sets and a new set too waiting around for any wayward P Bass that finds its way to my house.
I concur with Steve. It was his recording that sold me on the REDDI and Greg supplied said DI. I could hear it in the recording and that is where I hear the difference. Not so much when I plug into it but when I used it for recording. It's like the magic sauce
The new M1 Macs look to be really killer for recording.
Here's a two-part question for the Roscoe faithful. I've long believed that Keith has some of the most amazing (and consistently killer) tops and wood selection available (stating the obvious for many here). What do YOU think are some of the most crazy-topped and unique looking Roscoes of all time (the absolute cream of the crop and best of the best)? Similarly, out of curiosity, are there any Roscoe owners around who may have purchased a Roscoe back in the early 2000s from Blueberry Hill Bass? If so, I'd love to see those pics if they're still in action.

I bought bass from Blueberry Hill bass in the early 2000's. Killer Spalted Maple top with Spanish Cedar body and Tulipwood finger board.

I hope so. After Christmas I'm hoping to upgrade my 7 year old iMac to a MacBook Air with the M1 chip. We just got the MacBook Retina 2020 for our school computers. They are nice but have some shortcomings as they don't have the M1. I'm hoping the step up to that will be a great home laptop. That's what most reviews say. I think for things like GarageBand and iMovie it'll be great. They can run Logic and Final Cut but for my personal needs, the free and easier apps are fine. I could use the upgrades at school but like I said, the laptops we have are just a little under the task - at least with any speed.

I seen that. Looks like a nice bass but not anything close to what I would build.
