I go back and forth between GHS pressure wounds, and Bass Boomers. It's been boomers for the past 2 years- more mwah and growl, but the pressure wounds are less aggressive- they're like Keith Stone- Smooooooth.
I also work in Battle Creek, so I really like that I'm supporting a local Michigan business. As soon as the 'Rona isn't such an issue I am going to stop buy there one day with a case of beer and ask for a tour.
@Skip Chucker your LG is my dream bass. I love the LG, 5's and fretless and green is my favorite color. Love it!
So while we're on the subject of strings for fretless, I'm on the hunt for a good "smoother" than rounds but more life than true flats for my fretless (strung E-C). The obvious choice would be the EB Cobalt flats, GHS Brite Flats or Pressurewoubds but they don't come in 6 string sets.

I wonder if tapewounds might be something fresh for you to try. I took the TIs off my 2nd fretless, and didn't want a 2nd one with rounds. I tried tapes after enjoying them on acoustic-electrics, and they are a fun, different 'middle ground' between the lively rounds and the TIs. They come in 6-string sets, so a high C shouldn't be an issue.
So you can't get pressurewounds in prepackaged 6 string set- but they sell them on their website in singles that have 6 string gauges.

I love it as well. She's been my main squeeze ever since I brought her home.

Those are some of the best sounding and feeling strings I've ever played on certain basses. They are tonally between nickel wounds and bright flats. They don't work on every bass but if you can find one they will work on they are amazing and never wear out. They are very low tension though.
I've always imagined that low tension = floppy, and thusly I've stayed away. True?
I wouldn't say floppy but it took some getting used to. They are the smoothest strings you will ever play and the tone is incredible on the right bass. I had 2 sets in 2 different Ibanez BTB bass and a Ibanez Prestige 5005 bass. The Copper Whites have more growl than any string I've ever used.
That's cool, Shane! I have not tried the white ones yet, so I can't offer comments. I did research them a while back, listening to A/B demos of La Bella black vs white tape. I honestly liked what I heard in those demos with the standard black ones, so I've stuck with them. Of course that's just my tastes, ears, and basses.
Ordered a set of Pressurewound 4 string set and a single 28 C string.
I figured that I'd try them first. Hopefully they'll be in the neighborhood of the EB Cobalt flats that are currently on my fretless.

I have a killer set of well broken in TI's on the bass I just got from Jim. It has a fantastic sound but I'm dying for some round wound mwah..... so you know what that means right?!? I need another Roscoe fretless LOL!
D'addario nickel rounds on my lined Lg fretless.. (I'm using Dr pure blues on my fretted century 5 with excellent results as well.)
Edit: I haven't been playing my fretless much lately, haven't had anything really pop up where I needed a fretless. But they r nice to have if needed!
