Yes, for sure. It's really a dark blue color, but the sunlight makes it look purple.

Koa sure is a beautiful wood. This bass just plays and sounds fantastic.

I've definitely let go of a few basses, that I wish I had back. I guess we've all been there !

Taking my fretless to church tomorrow. Haven't played it much lately so it's time, and the songs for this week seem to work well with a fretless.
@Joe BassPlayer there was some nice pics of your Signature Roscoe having its spa day at the Roscoe Shop. I talked to Keith and he said he loved that Nordstrand preamp. I'm definitely having that done with my Roscoe's.
I'd like to put a Nordstrand preamp in the bass I just got from Greg since it already has the Nordstrand pups in it. But I'm gonna give the Aggy OBP1 a good try before I try to swap it out.

We need a classified section just for us. So we can trade amongst each other without having to post stuff for sale to the masses. Like if say I had a 4 string standard I wanted to trade for a 5 or 6 string standard. If you post that in the classifieds you're gonna get offered a slew of other brands and most of us don't have a want for that. Just saying.

You should definitely drop a Nordstrand pre in one of your Roscoe's.
It would give you 2 flavors of great!
I told Keith to make sure he checked out the Roscoe Bart's with Nordstrand pre. That I have in my bass. Good to hear that he did.
I'd love to see him offer it as a standard offering. I've heard a lot of preamps in the Roscoe and without a doubt the Nord is the best sounding and most versatile.

I'm pretty sure that's not the case this time. I think I only showed her the bass one time. Not like the countless times I talked about the P bass, and she was familiar with Greg so...Not me. I went as far as calling them The other day but decided it just wasn't the one for me.

How does the Nordstrand compare to Demeter? I just bought a Demeter that I was going to put in my black LG but am now thinking about the Nordie.
I talked to Nordstrand ship and they are expecting them back in stock February som time. Best preamp on the market IMO as I e been using them for years in other basses. Can't wait to try them in my. Art Roscoe's.
That is great. I would be interested in a three band pre.
It has been my limited experience with a Demeter pre-amp that it works better with a Mahogany body bass. I've had three basses with a Demeter in it; two Roscoe and a MTD. All with Bartolini pups. Two of those with Mahogany bodies. The one bass with the Swamp Ash body is now powered by a Nordstand 3B-4A. I hear no need to make any more changes.
The Mahogany Roscoe was well liked and requested by two bands I played in. I sold it so that they couldn't request it anymore!
One of the very few basses I would opt to buy back.The MTD still hangs on my Bass Wall and is a constant Go-To bass!
